Closing Foam Party

Gay Pride Maspalomas 2012, ended with a foam party at the main square of the Yumbo Centrum, that was sponsored by GayAmor and with International DJs like DJ Jean, from Amsterdam.
This concludes a week full of activities and events to celebrate the freedom of expression and continue reinforcing the struggle for the rights of the LGTB collective.
Sary Hernández, Miss Lesbian Gran Canaria 2012

Sary Hernandez, from Gran Canaria, has today achieved the title of Miss Lesbian Gran Canaria 2012, which took place in the swimming pool of Hotel Walkirias within the events planned for the Gay Pride Maspalomas 2012. The 24 year-old girl, received an award in cash, flowers and promotional material of the Hospital San Roque Maspalomas. After raising the victory, she confessed she felt "very nervous". "I didn’t expect anything, I came to enjoy and participed in the competition because my girlfriend convinced me, but the truth is that I have a lot of fun", said Sary.
Playa del Inglés dressed up full of colours to celebrate Gay Pride Maspalomas 2012 Parade

The touristic area of Playa del Inglés, in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, has today dressed in the colors of the rainbow to celebrate the great parade of the Gay Pride Maspalomas 2012. More than 32,000 people, according to Civil protection, took the streets to monitor this parade and support freedom of expression as well as the struggle for the rights of the LGTB collective. Tourists, residents, and passers-by wanted to take the opportunity to see this event, which has become a melting pot of cultures and colors.
Drag Acrux wins the Drag Diva Competition of Gay Pride Maspalomas 2012

Gran Drag Acrux has won the first prize of the competition Drag Diva of the Gay Pride Maspalomas 2012. His amazing show and fantasy ‘Estando entre bambalinas en el Centro Comercial Yumbo con más frío que calor, que viruje maricón’ led him to get the first prize in the competition. "I am very happy, the truth is that I didn’t expect it”, were his first words.. Second place was for Drag Icarus, who invaded the stage with their white feathers as an authentic cherokee with his fantasy 'in peace'. The third position, occupied the most Drag Xoul with your exotic fantasy entitled 'Passage to the India'.
